Engine
Quanchai Common Rail with intercooler
The 3.77 L four-cylinder Quanchai engine has electronic Common Rail injection, a turbocharger and charge-air intercooling. An enlarged radiator with a separate removable screen allows continuous work in high temperatures, and the dry air filter makes servicing easy.
Transmission
12F+12R shuttle and upgraded chassis
The 12F+12R shuttle gearbox changes direction in one move in any of the 12 gears. The chassis has a larger gearbox and a reinforced rear axle; the dry twin-plate clutch uses European friction discs. Turning radius is 4.6 m, or 3.8 m with single-wheel braking.
Hydraulics
Improved hydraulic valve block, 50 L/min
50 L/min hydraulics feed the float-capable valve block and the two cylinders of the category 2 rear linkage. The exact number of outlets is to be confirmed: the catalogue lists both 4 outlets and 4 pairs.
Cab
Raised cab on hydraulic mounts
Hydraulic cab mounts reduce vibration and noise, and the raised position improves visibility. An adjustable Grammer seat, air conditioning with multiple vents, suspended pedals and an LCD dashboard make up the workplace.
