The four-cylinder YTO YND490T delivers 29.4 kW (40 hp). A dry cartridge air filter cleans the intake air effectively, and the 65 L tank allows long work without refuelling.

Transmission

8+8 shuttle, differential lock

The 8F+8R shuttle gearbox has 8 forward and 8 reverse gears; the shuttle eases manoeuvres and work with mounted implements. A 9-inch dual-action twin-plate clutch controls travel and PTO separately. Four-wheel drive and a differential lock improve grip on difficult ground.

Cab on rubber mounts, with air conditioning

The cab sits on vibration-damping rubber mounts, with heat and sound insulation from the engine. Air conditioning and a roof hatch help in hot weather, and a sun blind shields the operator. The air compressor supplies the trailer brakes and a hose for cleaning the cab.
